Welcome to my blog

I am in my mid 40's, single and childless although this is not by choice. I live on the Isle of Man, a small island in the middle of the Irish sea. Its a very beautiful island but like anywhere it does have its ups and downs,

I have started this blog because I need a space that feels like mine. A place where I can speak openly about topics that often get brushed under the carpet as it makes people feel uncomfortable.  That includes the awkward stuff: being single and childless in midlife, pet grief, loneliness and the double standards women continue to face.

It wont be all doom and gloom though as I will also be posting about lighter things I love such as make up skincare, perfume ( I am an addict), books , TV and venturing into Electric Vehicle ownership for the first time. ​

This blog isn't going to be fancy or polished but it will be an unfiltered

and honest account of my life (as I see it).
